The Basin Brew Fest Committee and Basin Cares Foundation are proud to announce the 8th Annual Basin Brew Fest, set for Saturday, March 28, 2026, in Morgan City. What began as a craft beer festival has grown into a signature celebration of Louisiana culture, community, and connection, drawing visitors from across the region for an afternoon of great brews and hometown pride.

VIP early entry runs from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., followed by general admission from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. All guests must purchase a ticket to enter, and the event is strictly 21 and over.

A Better Festival Experience

Last year’s move beneath the U.S. Highway 90 Bridge proved to be a major success, offering improved logistics, expanded space, and welcome shade for attendees. Organizers plan to remain in this area for 2026, with thoughtful layout improvements designed to enhance crowd flow and create a more enjoyable experience for breweries, vendors, musicians, and festivalgoers alike.

More Than a Festival

Basin Brew Fest is proudly presented by the Basin Cares Foundation, a certified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to community improvement. Since launching in 2017, the festival has reinvested more than $100,000 into Lawrence Park, funding upgrades to the playground, historic gazebo, fountain, cornerstone marker, and parking area. These enhancements provide lasting benefits for residents and visitors while strengthening one of Morgan City’s most cherished public spaces.

While the festival showcases some of Louisiana’s finest craft beers, attendees return year after year for more than the brews. Basin Brew Fest celebrates the people, history, and spirit that make Morgan City unique, fostering a welcoming atmosphere where neighbors reconnect and visitors feel right at home.
